Is my lip stud infected or is it just me?

ok so well um i got my lip pierced like 3 weeks ago and the ring i was using broke so we went out n got a stud and ive been cleaning it with like bactine (th lady who pierced it said it was fine t use it n so did a couple other ppl i kno wit lip piercings) but like for sum reason its like RLY red on th in side of my lip n theres kinda a lil bump there too i mean theres sum puss but thts normal for a lip piercing and also i work with animals alot and a couple times theyve jumped up n knocked me in th lip hittin th piercing and also wen my tounge touches it it kinda tastes a lil funny so like it infected?
