I pierce my nose myself but im not wearing any nose stud ot anything will it get infected?

i pierced my nose myself but the earing did not fit so my little sis dump out all the hyrorden proxid and all we have is like cut cream should i put that on it? would it help? i really dont want a infetion cause my parnets dont know i did so please help me
