In my garage I am trying to drill a hole, but I can only drill about 1/2" into the wall. Trying to drill any further and what looks like a gray powder comes out of the hole. I tried using a stud finder, but it kept saying there was studs everywhere. Just wondering if anyone has any similar issue and if I should just completely stop or continue drilling?
